Chapel of the Flowers, Tropicana LV Weddings and EverAfter Employees Win Coveted Award from LVVCA.
The first week of May was declared National Travel and Tourism Week, and in the spirit of honoring the dedicated professionals who welcome 40 million visitors a year to Las Vegas, the Las Vegas Visitors and Convention Association (LVVCA) recognized select dedicated employees from the thousands of hard workers in the hospitality industry. The 2015 winners embodied the characteristics of a “hospitality hero” – someone who goes above and beyond to deliver the best customer service and show the best hospitality to every visitor he/she meets.
Congratulations to the following winners who are longtime employees at Tropicana LV Weddings and Chapel of the Flowers, two top-rated wedding venues on the Las Vegas Strip:
- Wedding Coordinator Shelby Rogers was named a Las Vegas Hospitality Hero at Tropicana LV Weddings. The Tropicana LV has a historic wedding chapel that seats 100 guests, as well as outdoor venues that overlook the pools, waterfalls and spectacular skyline.
- Chapel of the Flowers’ team members John Ewell and Allison Lund (pictured above) were named Hospitality Heroes for their services provided to the thousands of brides, grooms and guests who visit the intimate, elegant and legendary Las Vegas wedding chapel every year. Chapel of the Flowers has been celebrating love for 60 years and consistently earns top reviews from TripAdvisor, The Knot, Wedding Wire, Facebook as well as local and national publications. Chapel of the Flowers has three beautiful indoor chapels, a romantic outdoor gazebo and a unique, one-of-a-kind Glass Garden with a peaceful waterfall and dozens of glass “flowers” in an outdoor covered courtyard.
Wedding Venue Expert and Planner Tiffany Cox also earned a Hospitality Hero award for her exemplary service at EverAfter, an innovative Las Vegas travel service that provides destination wedding and event planning services for guests in the United States and around the world.
