Robert and Sandra and their two children flew in from Hertfordshire to get married after being together for 20 years. They were such a fun couple and by far one of my favorite weddings that I have coordinated. It wasn’t that they had an over-the-top ceremony, it was very intimate and simple, but Robert and Sandra had such a wonderful spirit to them that I will remember them for years to come.
When Robert and Sandra arrived to the chapel, Sandra advised me that her dress was a little non-traditional. I let her know that I loved non-traditional, so she had nothing to worry about. Sandra wore a floral print, floor-length dress with a pink cardigan that matched her flushed pink cheeks, she reminded me of spring time. Robert wore a blue pinstripe suit with a pink-striped tie to match his bride. Their daughter escorted Robert down the aisle, which is sort of poetic as usually a father will give his daughter away at her wedding, but today, Robert’s daughter gave her father away. Their son walked Sandra down the aisle and as a family, Robert and Sandra were joined in wedlock while their children stood witness to this joyful event. Robert and Sandra were full of spirit and were such a joy to work with and I hope to see them again in the future.
Congratulations Robert and Sandra and I wish you all the best in your next 20 years together, now as husband and wife!
